📋 Description

• Develop innovative creative concepts and designs, making critical decisions on elements such as images, typography, layout, and written content.

• Collaborate closely with skilled Copywriters and Creative Directors throughout the entire Transactional Brand Building process.

• Guide projects from initial planning through ideation, presentations, design, development, and production.

• The Senior Art Director plays a pivotal role in all stages of project development and implementation.

• Deliver compelling concept presentations to clients and Rain teams, weaving a narrative that connects the concept to audience needs, insights, and client objectives.

• Generate fresh and innovative ideas and adapt key components across various channels while upholding brand consistency and voice.

• Efficiently manage multiple projects, ensuring flawless execution of visual aspects.

• Provide high-quality creative art direction for each project and effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.

• Meet project timelines and ensure adherence to overall project completion schedules.

• Lead presentations and communicate creative visions effectively.

• Embrace and learn the established DTC advertising approach known as Transactional Brand Building, positioning brands for long-term success while driving short-term sales.

• Demonstrate profound brand and subject matter expertise, understanding data, claims, competitors, customers, and strategies associated with the brand.

• Advocate for the overall concept while incorporating design elements to suit the requirements of each medium.

• Recognize boundaries to push and the importance of collaboration in idea development.

• Master the art of balancing design elements within the concept to fulfill project needs.

• Develop strong visual elements across different mediums.

• Address client feedback effectively or provide logical reasoning for agency decisions with minimal guidance.

• Proficiently co-write music briefs and provide direction for music composition to evoke desired emotions and tones.

• Participate adeptly in the full casting process, making talent selections that align with desired performance and storytelling objectives.

• Supervise commercial filming with precision, collaborating with directors and creative leads to achieve the intended narrative and performances.

• Proactively lead projects with the creative team, taking full responsibility for creative aspects.

• Present confidently to clients and discuss how creative work aligns with briefs, audience needs, insights, and client goals.

• Continuously enhance core skills and remain open to adopting new tools, especially AI-powered ones, for content creation across various platforms.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess at least 5 years of experience as an art director in digital and non-digital channels, either with an advertising agency or a major brand's in-house creative department.

• Demonstrate exceptional skills in creative strategy, project management, and team leadership, with a strong focus on delivering outstanding design solutions that surpass client expectations.

• Exhibit strong conceptual, graphic design, typography, and page layout skills for interactive, broadcast, and print projects.

• Showcase examples of exceptional visual storytelling, conceptualization, and exceptional design.

• Excel in a collaborative, fast-paced, and high-pressure environment.

• Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a keen eye for detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, unafraid to express opinions.

• Proficient in software such as Figma, Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premier, Acrobat), with motion graphics or animation skills as a bonus.

• Thorough understanding of workflow between print, digital, and video asset creation.

• Proficient in all color modes (CMYK, RGB, SPOT, etc.).

• Familiarity with Information Architecture (IA) and User Experience (UX) methods for responsive web and mobile app design is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in presenting creative concepts clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders.

• Sound knowledge of best practices for broadcast and digital placements across various channels.

• Approachable, collaborative, results-oriented, problem-solving individual who can give and receive direction effectively.

• Skilled in team building, actively seeking opportunities to develop team members.

• Expertise in Direct-To-Consumer (Performance) advertising.

• Working knowledge of ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Veo, and other emerging AI tools is beneficial.

• Possession of a portfolio school and/or undergraduate degree in Design, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, or relevant field experience.
