• Efficiently manage parts procurement to optimize margins at all Activate Accident Repair Group locations.
• Lead and oversee the AAR Parts department, ensuring adequate resources are always accessible.
• Communicate the Parts strategy and structure clearly to the team, ensuring adherence to processes and responsibilities.
• Hold team members accountable for meeting agreed KPIs and address any underperformance promptly.
• Collaborate with Regional and Bodyshop Managers to meet Parts function expectations.
• Define and evaluate parts ordering processes, monitor SLAs, and drive improved KPI delivery consistently.
• Automate parts ordering, receipting, and invoicing, working with the development team to address system needs promptly.
• Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships within AAR operational management teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Contribute to customer contract negotiations regarding parts elements to create value for the Group.
• Continuously assess preferred suppliers against performance criteria and take corrective actions as needed.
• Negotiate and monitor supplier discounts and SLAs, communicating changes from contractual agreements.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure consistent service across multiple sites.
• Analyze parts data to identify margin-increasing opportunities and drive efficiency across the Group.
• Minimize charges through strategic parts ordering without compromising customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills to optimize team performance.
• Technical knowledge of the vehicle parts and accessories industry and supply chain.
• Previous experience in parts procurement in a multi-site environment.
• Strong numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
• High standards of data accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to uphold and promote the Group values.
