•Produces high-quality character content consistently and on time, meeting performance goals.
•Collaborates with Art Directors and Lead Artists to set and maintain art direction for the game, providing valuable feedback to the character art team.
•Guides and supports team members through documented workflows.
•Coordinates work for various resources, ensuring smooth delivery and integration of assets.
•Explores and implements techniques to enhance efficiency and visual quality in character art creation.
•Participates in setting and maintaining performance standards, working closely with other departments for seamless integration into the game engine.
•Contributes to documentation creation and task management using tools like Confluence and JIRA.
•May be assigned additional responsibilities as needed.
•Proficiency in Maya (or Max), Substance Painter, Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, or similar tools, and Photoshop.
•Ability to create normal maps from high-poly models.
•Familiarity with PBR shader and complex node-based shader networks like those in Unreal Engine and Substance Designer.
•Experience with source control systems like Perforce.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
