Character Designer

📋 Description

• Utilize strong conceptual ideas and visual creativity to create original characters.

• Explore and generate a diverse range of ideas for characters in films.

• Develop detailed pages for characters, including facial expressions, body gestures, poses, and attitudes that convey the character's essence.

• Design costumes and potentially provide color styling for characters.

• Collaborate closely with Modelers.

• Understand how 2D drawings translate into 3D shapes and effectively communicate this transition.

• Provide progress updates to production staff and ensure all deadlines are met.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ability to independently think and design from concept to completion.

• Strong grasp of design principles.

• Adaptability to various styles from realistic to stylized.

• Proficiency in understanding 3D form and shapes.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Proficient in Photoshop, with knowledge of Maya and/or ZBrush as a bonus.
