Digital Designer – Parental Leave Cover, Part-Time

📋 Description

• Crafting engaging and functional websites from initial concept to launch

• Overseeing and executing digital design projects for customers in APAC

• Conducting design workshops and client meetings to gather requirements and translate insights into user-focused wireframes and designs

• Presenting design ideas confidently to both clients and internal teams

• Developing accessible and responsive layouts in alignment with WCAG best practices

• Collaborating closely with developers, project managers, and product designers to deliver top-notch solutions

• Maintaining and enhancing existing customer websites and addressing design requests as needed

• Contributing to the theme library and assisting in the upkeep of design systems, templates, and components

• Keeping up-to-date with UX trends and integrating them into the design process

• Ensuring clear communication within APAC and NAM teams, whether co-located or remote

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in digital design

• Proficiency in responsive web design and CMS-driven website design

• Strong communication skills for presenting work, leading workshops, and interacting with clients

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, growing environment

• Familiarity with Figma for design, components, libraries, and developer collaboration

• Experience in both co-located and distributed team settings

• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards

• Familiarity with Jira, Slack, and similar tools

• Empathy towards users and clients, with the ability to understand needs and build relationships

• Experience with Craft CMS or similar platforms is advantageous, but not mandatory

• Bonus points for interaction and prototyping experience
