• Work closely with the Communications team to create captivating graphics, infographics, reports, templates, presentations, and other visual communication materials.
• Support digital and print design projects, such as website design, social media visuals, digital content creation, and preparing materials for online and print distribution.
• Develop engaging visual narratives for complex technical projects and data to educate both internal NERC team members and external stakeholders.
• Solve challenging issues that require a deep understanding of the work being done.
• Participate in additional projects as assigned.
• Deliver a final report and presentation to the Communication leadership team, including the VP of Corporate and External Communications, at the end of the internship.
• Currently a junior or senior in an accredited undergraduate program, enrolled in an accredited graduate school program, completed the first year of a trade school, or finished an undergraduate, graduate, or trade school program within six months of starting the internship.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Proficiency in desktop, computer art design, web design, and graphic design using Microsoft and Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
• Strong skills in teamwork, communication, and interpersonal interactions.
• Reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided in accordance with the company’s travel and expense reimbursement policies.
