• CACI is in search of a Graphic Designer to utilize your creativity, expertise, and technical skills to develop impactful visual solutions for government-contracted projects.
• In this position, you will be responsible for crafting, revising, and enhancing technical illustrations, imagery, and photographs to effectively convey complex information through various formats.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from different disciplines to produce innovative visuals that breathe life into our customers' technical content and messaging, catering to diverse audiences.
• To excel in this role, a blend of artistic talent, technical proficiency, and a firm grasp of design principles is essential to create compelling and engaging technical visual communications.
• Work closely with customers and key stakeholders to grasp technical design requirements, then autonomously develop innovative solutions for digital and print media.
• Utilize art elements like illustration, typography, and color to craft visually captivating designs that effectively convey technical content, ideas, and messages.
• Ensure communications uphold brand consistency across all materials and adhere to customer templates, style guides, and images.
• Implement best practices for text and visual content layout in digital and printed documentation.
• Review and refine completed work for formatting, accuracy, and visual appeal.
• Provide updates or other reports on work progress.
• Lead and facilitate work product development/revision cycle meetings to gather feedback.
• Incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments.
• Take charge of assignments; guarantee all products are delivered with exceptional quality, accuracy, efficiency, and on time.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging graphic design technologies.
• May undertake additional Technical Writer/Editor responsibilities as required.
• Support the fulfillment of contract requirements, which may involve submitting supporting data and metrics, and timely completion of written reports.
• Other duties may be assigned to contribute to project and mission success.
• Must hold U.S. Citizenship with an active DOD Secret security clearance.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Candidates with at least 10 years of directly applicable work experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional related work experience.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Showcase a strong portfolio demonstrating various design skills and project types, with a focus on technical design.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with others to accurately define project requirements.
• Proficient in creating a wide range of media.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent written/verbal communication skills to engage internal and external customers successfully.
• Outstanding organizational skills to manage competing priorities, multiple tasks, and firm deadlines efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Experience with 3D animation and motion graphics (Desired).
• Skills in video editing (Desired).
• Technical writing/editing skills and experience (Desired).
• Possess any of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Master, Certified Agilist, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Technical Writer (CTW) (Desired).
• Work experience with the Naval Maintenance Community, United States Navy, or the Department of Defense (Desired).
