• Engage with FTI Customer to assist in visualizing and defining their requirements, documenting work scope, and reaching agreement on the work plan.
• Utilize digital design software and layout software to produce designs (proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud & Figma/Invision is preferred).
• Oversee the project life cycle, from initial customer contact to project delivery.
• Possess a professional-level grasp of design principles for print, web design, and digital formats.
• Demonstrate a critical understanding of color theory, visual hierarchy, and graphical communication across all formats when incorporating text in layouts, images, lists, or tables.
• Conduct technical reviews and assessments to inform all stakeholders.
• Translate complex diagrams and data into easily understandable visual graphics.
• Perform design research and analysis.
• Manage time effectively and utilize project management skills through service ticket systems (JIRA, GIT, Trello, and Microsoft Planner).
• Collaborate with project leaders, subject matter experts, Instructional Systems Designers, and fellow designers to deliver refined creative assets aligned with the brand.
• Assist in overseeing the company's obligations related to licensing, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Apply industry expertise to evaluate work produced by others, contribute to, review, and enhance visual strategy and execution of branding projects, such as logo design, style guides, systems, and graphical layouts.
• Implement innovative, creative concepts and ideas for UI/UX design development and other digital products, including page layouts, web homepages, and promotional materials.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and meticulous attention to detail across all deliverables.
• Stay informed about current design trends, tools, and process enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, or interior design from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working independently and/or collaboratively as a graphic designer.
• At least 2 years of experience in web design and production, including front end HTML/CSS.
• Openness to obtaining a DoD Secret clearance, with a preference for Top Secret clearance (SCI Eligible).
• Extensive proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and industry-standard tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant skill sets is preferred.
• Experience engaging with "customers" (internal or external) to understand their requirements and success criteria for creating or updating their "products".
• Experience enhancing and adjusting content – designing graphical images, utilizing existing images, graphical layout, color, branding placement, and text – to ensure high comprehension and a positive impact on the consumer.
