• Responsible for designing and art directing various print and digital assets, such as book covers and marketing materials.
• Creates visually appealing book covers and interior templates utilizing advanced design principles.
• Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Works closely with authors and the Acquisitions team to comprehend their vision.
• Utilizes specialized design techniques to enhance the impact of book designs and other materials.
• Leads design initiatives, offering guidance and mentorship to fellow designers on the team.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, or publishing.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Solid understanding of design techniques for both print and digital mediums.
• Experience with advanced typography, print layout, and template creation for long-form publications.
• Demonstrated knowledge of special printing techniques like gold foil and embossing.
• Capable of managing multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail.
• Active participation in an evangelical Christian church.
• Familiarity with Procreate and/or Midjourney is advantageous.
• Some proficiency in Spanish language is preferred.
