β’ The Senior Brand Designer contributes to high-level design work while managing a small team.
β’ Reporting to the Art Director, responsible for overseeing high-level design work and campaigns, ensuring creative accuracy, and upholding design principles.
β’ This role involves balancing individual design responsibilities while prioritizing tasks, juggling multiple projects, and communicating proactively about bandwidth challenges.
β’ The Senior Brand Designer will work cross-functionally with retail managers across multiple states.
π― Requirements
β’ 3-6 years of experience in a media production or design role, preferably in a fast-paced, production-focused environment, either in-house or at an agency.
β’ A B.A. in Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
β’ Substantial experience as a designer, with a portfolio showcasing strong creative taste and versatility across various mediums.
β’ Management experience, with the ability to provide feedback and mentor peers.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage expectations with retail managers and other stakeholders.
β’ Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance design work with management responsibilities.
β’ Strong communication skills to articulate design choices and rationale, and to escalate concerns when project load becomes unmanageable.
β’ Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
β’ Understanding of design principles, marketing objectives, and the ability to align creative output with business strategies.
β’ Expertise in the cannabis industry is a plus.
β’ Previous experience in promotional marketing or digital advertising is a plus.
