Senior Character Concept Artist

📋 Description

• Must have a strong passion for developing captivating character and creature concepts that align with the project's visual style

• Excitement for delving deep into design to bring characters to life with creativity and logic

• Thrive in the ideation and brainstorming process, collaborating with various creative teams

• Collaborate closely with the Art Director and Lead Character Artist to establish visual guidelines and art briefs

• Maintain awareness of task progression, timelines, and risks to support team and production needs

• Embrace a culture of constructive feedback and be open to mentoring junior artists

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in 2D drawing techniques with a strong understanding of composition, color theory, and anatomy

• Portfolio demonstrating a range of character art from sketches to fully rendered concepts

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concept Artist specializing in character art

• Previous involvement in shipping AAA or AA titles as a Concept Artist

• Advanced skills in Photoshop or similar 2D drawing software; knowledge of Zbrush is a plus
