• Become a Graphic Designer and Illustrator with Toptal's network, collaborating with a client focused on engaging Gen Z audiences through custom visual content.
• Work closely with a diverse team of writers and designers to create original illustrations, including potential animations, primarily for the client's website to enhance their blog posts, with adaptability for mobile, social media, and digital ads.
• This is a remote position that does not provide visa sponsorship or assistance. All resumes and communication must be in English. The assignment is expected to last about 4 weeks, with the chance of extension.
• Provide quick design updates based on feedback and create custom illustrations across various styles for internal approval (no AI-generated final art).
• Generate multiple ideas simultaneously, including compositions with graphics and typography, and apply responsive design best practices.
• Collaborate efficiently with writers and designers, integrating feedback and adjusting designs as necessary.
• Demonstrated track record in illustration, supported by a portfolio exclusively showcasing illustration work.
• Proficiency in composition, typography, and graphic design.
• Ability to deliver quick, iterative design processes and present multiple options creatively in this early-stage startup environment.
• Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
• Preferably, experience in the creator, influencer, or talent management space.
• Animation or motion design skills are beneficial.
• Self-motivated, proactive, excellent communication skills, and team-oriented.
• Capable of working in fast-paced environments, with experience in startups, problem-solving, and effective task prioritization.
