📋 Description

• Create thumbnail concepts that effectively communicate the emotion, narrative, or highlight of a video in a single image.

• Collaborate with executives, video leads, and fellow artists to grasp the content and craft visuals that enhance performance and engage viewers.

• Engage in iterative design feedback sessions to ensure thumbnails align with aesthetic and analytical objectives.

• Stay updated on current YouTube and social media trends to ensure visuals remain fresh, impactful, and culturally relevant.

• Produce sketch thumbnails for A/B testing and optimization experiments.

• Provide support with branding assets as needed, such as banners, overlays, or key art.

• Assist with final polished compositions on occasion.

• Demonstrate creative ownership, adaptability, and effective time management to meet tight deadlines amidst ambiguity.

• Present work clearly during reviews and contribute to a culture of feedback and enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in concept art, illustration, graphic design, or related visual production roles.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating captivating YouTube or social media thumbnails, illustrations, or narrative-driven artwork.

• Profound understanding of YouTube visual culture and what makes a thumbnail engaging.

• Proficiency in composition, color theory, lighting, and typography for digital platforms.

• Familiarity with chibi, cute chic, and emotionally expressive art styles is advantageous.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing content requirements and evolving trends.

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.

• Self-driven, proactive, and adept at managing multiple tasks under pressure.

• Experience with A/B testing and performance-oriented creative work is a plus.
