User Experience (UX) Design Specialist

📋 Description

• Aretum is looking for a dynamic and driven User Experience (UX) Design Specialist - Contingent to join our design team.

• Focus on enhancing the user experience of our clients, particularly in the government sector, by crafting interactive and effective user interfaces that streamline intricate processes.

• Implement user-centered design principles to supervise the entire design process.

• Carry out user research, build personas and user journeys, develop wireframes and prototypes, and conduct usability tests.

• Conduct stakeholder and user research, including journey mapping and persona creation.

• Lead brainstorming sessions and transform insights into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and accessibility experts.

• Ensure designs adhere to accessibility (Section 508) and usability standards.

• Deliver design concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of UX design experience in Agile environments

• Demonstrated proficiency in the complete UCD lifecycle

• Proficient in Figma (preferred), FigJam, or similar tools

• Experience in designing for Section 508 compliance

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
