• Responsible for creating stylized 3D characters, creatures, and props from initial blockout to final in-game implementation.
• Open to learning and developing skills under the guidance of the character team, embracing feedback as an integral part of the creative process.
• Work closely with the art team and various departments, iterating regularly to ensure assets align with art direction, maintain high quality, and are optimized for gameplay.
• Engage in understanding diverse game development processes and contribute innovative ideas to enhance characters and offer new perspectives.
• Participate in playtesting and collaborate with team members to improve the game through collective development.
• Strong grasp of forms, anatomy, shape language, design, and composition.
• Proficient in Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush, Substance, Marmoset, and other 2D/3D tools.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4/5.
• Passion for stylized character art and painterly textures.
• Ability to create PBR Materials.
• Skill in translating 2D concepts into attractive 3D models.
• Understanding of deformable topology for animation.
• Knowledge of Retopology, UVs, and baking techniques with a focus on cleanliness and optimization.
