• We are seeking a talented Rive Animator & Illustrator to animate our mascot Milo and bring the Mathspace experience to life with expressive motion, character animation, and interactive design.
• Your role will be pivotal in defining the emotional core of the Mathspace product.
• Responsibilities include designing, rigging, and animating Milo in various emotions, actions, and celebratory moments.
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable animations for different contexts.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve clarity and engagement through microinteractions.
• Assist in creating gamification assets and contributing to marketing and communication materials.
• Construct and oversee Rive state machines for responsive, interactive animations.
• Showcase a strong portfolio showcasing vector illustration and expressive 2D animation skills.
• Proficient in Rive, including state machines, triggers, and interactivity.
• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator or similar vector design tools.
• Solid grasp of character rigging, motion principles, and UI/UX animation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers to deliver scalable animation systems.
• Experience in designing for educational, gaming, or youth-oriented digital products (Preferred).
• Familiarity with Figma and After Effects for animation prototyping (Preferred).
• Understanding of visual storytelling, reward mechanisms, and motivational feedback (Preferred).
