📋 Description

• Create and maintain detailed, top-notch technical documentation and visuals that simplify intricate systems, processes, and workflows into easily understandable graphical content.

• Lead projects from start to finish—assessing needs, predicting interconnected effects, and promoting ongoing enhancements.

• Introduce innovative visual strategies to enhance user acceptance and interaction, utilizing visuals like exploded diagrams, pictorial instructions, system diagrams, process maps, and flow charts.

• Manage a uniform visual style and graphics repository, encompassing tone and terminology.

• Collaborate on and oversee multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, iterative setting, ensuring consistency with ITD brand.

• Continuously enhance documentation and visuals based on changes in processes/tools and user input.

• Grasp the ITD learning and development model—with a focus on knowledge-sharing systems/tools, processes, and ethos.

• Utilize AI to craft content optimized for AI-driven Learning Assistant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, as access to information under this program/contract is restricted to U.S. citizens only.

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or related field with a minimum of 5+ years of experience; OR an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

• Demonstrated experience through a diverse portfolio showcasing technical illustration & technical writing proficiency, along with expertise in relevant tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Visio, and/or equivalents).

• Ability to grasp complex concepts, systems & processes to generate documentation that accurately and clearly represents entire systems and individual components.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills (verbal and written).

• Flourishes in an agile, fast-paced environment that values experimentation and continual improvement.
