📋 Description

• IXL Learning, a leading developer of personalized learning products used worldwide, is in search of a talented illustrator and graphic designer to join the curriculum team. The role involves creating captivating images for online learning materials.

• Produce visually appealing illustrations with a unique graphic-novel style for Rosetta Stone’s Foundations product.

• Maintain visual consistency and adhere to established style guidelines.

• Manage multiple illustration projects efficiently within tight deadlines.

• Revise images based on feedback from curriculum designers.

• This is a remote, 1099 consulting position for an initial three-month period, with the possibility of extension.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in craftsmanship and illustration with a strong design sensibility.

• Proficiency in creating engaging raster images with a stylized, graphic-novel approach.

• Experience in producing kid-friendly, flat vector artwork is a bonus.

• Background as an illustrator/graphic designer for online content, particularly in the education sector.

• Proficient in Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop (Illustrator skills are advantageous).

• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly through sketches, verbal communication, and written formats.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Proven track record of efficiently managing multiple design tasks and meeting deadlines.

• Experience in sourcing and editing images from Shutterstock is a plus.

• A degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, or related field is beneficial.
