• We are currently seeking applications for the role of Motion Designer. This position involves creating motion design assets for various entertainment and gaming clients, overseeing the creative direction and flow of motion graphics for projects within a specific vertical.
• Collaborate closely with Creative Leads and Project Managers to develop motion design concepts for social campaigns in the entertainment and gaming space.
• Work alongside graphic designers and other team members to produce original and engaging executions that drive audience engagement.
• Assist Social Media Managers and Creative Leads during client interactions and requests.
• Provide mentorship to junior motion designers on processes, file structures, animation techniques, and new AE plugins.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing skills and exploring innovative techniques to lead the team and push the boundaries of motion graphics design.
• Uphold high-quality standards within the team, ensuring that all creative motion assets meet or surpass DMM standards under the guidance of Creative Leads.
• Utilize key moments from cinematics, long-form videos, films, etc., to craft unique and visually compelling motion designs for various social media platforms.
• Contribute to the creative process by introducing innovative ideas and creative solutions to drive the overall success of the design team.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a dynamic social media agency, ideally with exposure to clients in the video game and entertainment industries.
• Proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop, with knowledge of Cinema4D considered a bonus.
• Strong visual and conceptual skills to solve problems and develop unique solutions.
• Ability to create and adapt creative assets efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Thorough understanding of the entertainment industry, including awareness of current social trends, platform landscapes, and gamer communities.
• Eagerness to continuously learn new techniques and technologies to enhance your craft.
• Experience in designing style frames is advantageous.
• Availability to work from 9 am to 6 pm PST with flexibility for occasional weekend coverage.
