BC - Environment - VFX Visual Development Artist/Concept Artist - Stop Motion VFX Project

📋 Description

• Produce visual development pieces to define and enhance the visual style and narrative of projects

• Work closely with the VFX Art Director to brainstorm and refine crucial visual elements

• Create captivating key art based on storyboards, 2D concept art, or preliminary pre-visualization models

• Generate top-notch key images for different VFX departments

• Utilize 2D software to enhance production images for practical purposes

• Ensure timely delivery of project requirements in a fast-paced environment

• Contribute creatively in team meetings and reviews

• Effectively communicate with supervisors and department leaders

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Visual Development Artist/Concept Artist

• Impressive portfolio demonstrating a variety of high-quality visual development and key art pieces

• Profound understanding of color theory, lighting, composition, and visual storytelling

• Strong artistic abilities with a focus on detail and realism

• Experience with reference data, renders, photos, HDRIs, and photogrammetry

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced creative environment

• Excellent time-management skills

• Proficiency in 3D modeling, sculpting, and rendering software like Maya, Blender, Houdini, etc.; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
