• Supervise other motion designers on complex projects to ensure successful outcomes.
• Utilize expertise in 2D animation, editing, and post-production tools (such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere) to consistently deliver high-quality work.
• Quickly adapt to new tools and workflows, contributing to the development of scalable templates and best practices that enhance project efficiency.
• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple workstreams while maintaining organization and focus.
• Address client feedback with innovative solutions that tackle underlying creative issues.
• Maintain clear and frequent communication with team members to uphold project cohesion.
• Explore AI technologies to improve motion design workflows and creative output.
• Foster a culture of learning and mentorship by sharing techniques and inspiration with colleagues to enhance the department and organization.
• Thorough knowledge of the 12 Principles of Animation.
• Proven ability to lead small teams of animators on challenging projects.
• Expertise in After Effects with working knowledge of Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
• Experience with Cinema 4D, 3D workflows, AI-assisted design/animation tools, or audio editing software (e.g., Audition) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of various video & audio formats and their appropriate usage.
• Comprehensive grasp of project management and motion production workflow.
• Strong motion reel or portfolio showcasing skills as an animator and video editor.
• Creative mindset, adaptability, and willingness to experiment with new animation techniques.
• Collaborative and friendly demeanor.
• Availability to work EST hours.
