• The Design Manager's role involves supporting the envisioning and design management of large, intricate construction projects across all project phases, from definition to construction.
• Collaborating with project leadership to plan, evaluate, and oversee the planning, programming, and design work to ensure successful project delivery aligned with client goals.
• Providing support in executing services for various complex projects, including visioning sessions, feasibility studies, and architect and contractor procurement.
• Cultivating a collaborative environment with peers and project teams while maintaining positive client and consultant relationships.
• Possess an NCARB accredited bachelor’s degree in architecture with at least five (5) years of experience as a practicing architect involved in planning, design, and construction.
• Registered Architect in California with an active license preferred, along with other industry accreditations like LEED AP, DBIA, PMP, or CCM.
• Demonstrated experience in all project phases with strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, work independently or in a team, and maintain a client-focused and detail-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and design software (Rhino, Enscape, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Revu).
