Head of Design

📋 Description

• Setting the design vision, strategy, and operational model for fostering collaboration within the organization.

• Guiding and mentoring a team of designers (5 individuals) to enhance their skills, processes, and collaboration with other departments.

• Ensuring excellence in the Discovery and Delivery phases, covering research, ideation, prototyping, and implementation.

• Acting as a catalyst for change by streamlining processes, enhancing design maturity, and improving overall outcomes.

• Contributing directly to key design projects such as concepts, prototypes, workflows, and design evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience in Product/UI/UX Design.

• At least 4 years in leadership roles within the design field (Lead, Manager, Director, or equivalent).

• Strong expertise in Discovery and Delivery, with a proven record of enhancing product results.

• Ability to recruit, mentor, and coach designers at various levels of seniority.

• Proficiency in leading organizational or process transformations to optimize design operations.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Data, and Leadership.

• Willingness to engage in hands-on design work when beneficial.

• Advanced proficiency in English.
