• Lead the development and enhancement of Givebutter's visual identity across various platforms such as brand, marketing, product, events, and digital experiences
• Manage a team of designers and creatives, as well as collaborate with external agencies, freelance specialists, and production vendors
• Establish creative systems including templates, brand guidelines, and asset libraries to ensure quality and efficiency
• Oversee art direction for photography, video, motion, and illustration projects from inception to completion
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Leadership teams to align creative strategies with business objectives
• Drive brand activations and experiences, translating nonprofit impact into compelling visual narratives
• Utilize AI tools for rapid prototyping and creative exploration while upholding high craft standards
• Possess over 8 years of design and creative leadership experience with a strong portfolio showcasing brand identity, campaigns, art direction, and systems work
• Ability to both execute high-quality design work and lead a team effectively
• Link creative decisions to mission and metrics, emphasizing the importance of the "why"
• Excel in fast-paced environments, balancing quality with speed and making strategic decisions on excellence versus delivery
• Skilled in art directing work across various media formats including photography, motion, video, and events
• Maintain a robust network of illustrators, photographers, directors, editors, and production vendors
