Director of UX and Product Design

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the complete digital customer journey at Freebird.

• Manage and enhance the core funnel experience, including hero/offer, landing pages, checkout, and subscription flows.

• Utilize customer insights and business data to develop testable UX and offer strategies.

• Collaborate with CRO Manager to create and test innovative LP/offer frameworks.

• Continuously enhance CVR, first-order contribution margin, and LTV by improving flows, messaging, and design.

• Develop a lightweight design system that balances testing speed with consistency and brand enhancement.

• Set industry best practices for funnel UX, trust signals, messaging hierarchy, and visual consistency.

• Enhance Freebird's digital creative direction to establish customer trust and premium brand perception.

• Quickly design and launch new landing page and funnel variations in partnership with CRO and Dev teams.

• Utilize Figma and prototyping tools to swiftly move from concept to live testing.

• Implement A/B testing frameworks and ensure statistically valid results.

• Maintain a balance between conversion performance, transparency, compliance, and trust-building.

• Initially work hands-on as a design leader and gradually build and lead a small design team.

• Foster a culture of experimentation, speed, and customer-centric design while mentoring team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, eCommerce funnels, and CRO.

• Demonstrated success in designing and testing high-converting landing pages and digital funnels for consumer products.

• Thorough understanding of direct-response design psychology, offer strategy, and user flows.

• Proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and lightweight design systems.

• Hands-on experience in conducting A/B tests, analyzing results, and iterating rapidly.

• Ability to balance performance design with premium brand enhancement.

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with CRO, Marketing, Dev, and CEO teams.

• Experience in building and leading small, impactful design/experiment teams is a plus.
