• The Graphic Design Intern plays a vital role in ONC's objective of delivering unbiased news, viewpoints, and policy solutions. They will handle crucial responsibilities within the media department and collaborate with various teams such as Media, Business Development, Community, and the Core Content Department.
• Proficiency in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Paint 3D, Figma, Canva, and/or Photopea is required for the Graphic Design Intern.
• Responsibilities include crafting designs for advertisements, book covers, flyers, and graphics for video projects, among others.
• Working closely with the Director of Marketing and peers, this intern will also have independent project responsibilities.
• This remote position requires comfortable coordination through Zoom and Slack, emphasizing the importance of maintaining consistent communication.
• Interns are expected to commit at least until the end of the Summer semester (December 30th, 2025), with opportunities for extension based on performance.
• Passion for Graphic Design or pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or related fields
• Proficiency in basic editing software like Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.
• Strong communication skills, demonstrating responsiveness, consistency, and effectiveness even in challenging situations
• Ability to work independently and remotely, adhering to deadlines
• Attendance at weekly Organization-Wide and Media team meetings is required
• Authorization to intern in the U.S. is a must
