📋 Description

• Lead the development of Shakepay's design vision and strategy, creating a roadmap that aligns with business objectives and customer requirements.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Executive teams to elevate the role of design in shaping product direction.

• Foster a high-performing design team by promoting creativity, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence, ensuring the delivery of exceptional user experiences.

• Drive customer-centricity by overseeing user research and data-driven design decisions to enhance product development.

• Evolve design systems and processes to enable efficient and consistent scaling across various products.

• Uphold design quality standards, ensuring that UI, UX, and product storytelling reinforce trust in Shakepay at every touchpoint.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 10 years of product design experience, including at least 3 years leading design teams in rapidly growing consumer tech or fintech organizations.

• Demonstrate strategic influence by collaborating with executives and senior leaders to shape product strategies.

• Exhibit operational excellence in developing design systems and practices that facilitate faster product delivery without compromising quality.

• Prioritize customer insights in guiding product decisions and balancing them with strategic objectives.

• Inspire and develop team members, setting clear expectations and maintaining high standards of performance.

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate design into decision-making processes and execution.

• Embrace ambiguity and complexity, making decisive decisions and rallying teams around a bold vision.

• Excel in communication, translating complex ideas into clear narratives that resonate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Show a genuine interest in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, with preference given to experience in cryptocurrency or FinTech products.
