• Develop and implement a comprehensive UX/UI strategy and roadmap for Empower's marketing and product initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of 25 designers, content strategists, and creative professionals

• Enhance Empower's design and content system for consistency, scalability, and innovation
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to create impactful experiences based on insights
• Streamline user flows to improve acquisition, retention, and satisfaction rates
• Implement a hybrid onshore/offshore model and utilize AI tools for improved quality and efficiency
• Work closely with UX research to identify customer needs and drive design innovation
• Ensure all experiences comply with accessibility, privacy, and regulatory standards
• Represent Empower's design practice in executive forums and industry events
• Minimum 15 years of experience in UX/UI or product design leadership in financial services, fintech, or consumer tech industries
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in design, marketing, communications, or related field
• Proven track record of delivering digital experiences across web and mobile platforms
• Expertise in user-centered design, usability testing, and interaction design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual design excellence and business impact
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and design tools like Figma or Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in building and expanding global or hybrid design teams
• Ability to influence senior leaders and align design with business strategies
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence
