Junior Product Designer

📋 Description

• Evaluate user data and session recordings to pinpoint areas of improvement and potential enhancements.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished mockups for new features and enhancements.

• Conduct usability tests and refine designs based on feedback and test outcomes.

• Collaborate with the Product team to ensure designs align with business goals and technical needs.

• Develop reusable design components and contribute to the enhancement of the design system.

• Document and uphold design specifications for a seamless handover to developers.

• Engage in team stand-ups, design syncs, and planning sessions to maintain cohesion.

• Uphold accessibility standards in all designs to ensure inclusivity for diverse user demographics.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to guide design choices.

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Design or a related field from a post-secondary institution.

• Proficient in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or equivalent platforms.

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS is beneficial.

• Familiarity with UX principles, accessibility guidelines, and user-centered design concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret user feedback and data effectively.

• Capable of collaborating efficiently in cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and QA.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate design decisions clearly.

• A robust portfolio showcasing design projects encompassing wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
