• We are in the process of developing a comprehensive, technology-driven reading product for pre-kindergarten through 8th grade.
• Magpie is currently in search of a Product Designer Consultant to join our team on a 6-month contract basis.
• Your role will involve shaping and enhancing the user experience across our learning and assessment tools.
• This will entail a combination of user research, design strategy, and UI/UX implementation through close collaboration.
• You will play a key part in establishing a unified design system, enhancing our grasp of user requirements, and aiding in refining the product with innovative design solutions.
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools, with a strong emphasis on Figma.
• Thorough knowledge of product design centered around learning and user research.
• Experience working collaboratively with diverse teams such as Engineering, Academics, and Product departments.
• Excellent communication skills and aptitude for documentation.
• Bonus: Familiarity with working alongside illustration contractors, scriptwriting, or audio production tools.
• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $65 to $100.
