⛳️ Requirements

• Joining us as a Junior Product Designer at Mechanical Orchard means you will be instrumental in shaping your team's strategies to deliver value to our customers.

• Collaborate with the team to conduct user research effectively.

• Design user interfaces and experiences for technically advanced products.

• Skillfully balance business requirements, user needs, and technical constraints when making design decisions.

• Manage short-term design tasks while delving into long-term feature research.

• Foster seamless communication within the project team and with stakeholders.

• Contribute to defining the product vision for projects that revamp critical legacy systems using contemporary engineering methodologies.

• Engage in agile team rituals like daily standups, weekly planning, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate closely with senior team members to ensure design effectiveness and alignment on priorities.

• Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field.

• Demonstrate strategic thinking, technical prowess, UX expertise, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Quickly adapt to new software and technologies.

• Have 1 to 4 years of Product Design experience from internships, co-op programs, work roles, or bootcamps.

• Showcase prior involvement in the entire product development lifecycle.

• Previous exposure to software and web development is a plus.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and empathy are crucial for effective teamwork with developers, clients, and colleagues at Mechanical Orchard.
