Manager, Product Design

📋 Description

• Guide a team of designers through individual sessions, feedback, and evaluations to enhance their skills, expand their influence, and make informed decisions

• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to ensure designers are well-informed for success

• Identify challenges at different experience levels and coordinate appropriate solutions

• Develop team practices, documentation, and standards to enhance collaboration and product delivery

• Advocate for the strategic use of AI tools to streamline workflows, gain insights, and enhance customer experiences

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in designing software products, preferably in SaaS

• At least 2 years of managing or leading designers in a multi-functional setting

• Demonstrated portfolio or history of impactful team design projects

• Ability to mentor, empower, and assist without excessive supervision

• Proficiency in seeing the bigger picture of user experiences and facilitating team cohesion

• Strong communication skills to bring clarity to complex discussions

• Keen interest in AI technology and eagerness to explore its benefits for the team and users
