• The Core Product team is dedicated to enhancing Discord's core product value, aiming to establish it as the ultimate online hub for socializing and gaming with friends.

• As a product designer, you will play a vital role in the entire product development journey, from ideation to execution.

• Collaborating with a lead designer, you will contribute to expanding the voice and video experience ecosystem.

• Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, visually appealing mockups, innovative prototypes, and ensuring precise implementation of your designs.

• You will continuously test, learn, and refine your work in conjunction with product peers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing consumer-centric products with a modern approach.

• Proficiency in utilizing Figma and a high-fidelity prototyping tool such as Protopie, Framer, or Origami.

• Demonstrable portfolio showcasing your primary design contributions to projects across desktop and mobile platforms.

• Actively engaged in Discord, demonstrating a genuine enthusiasm for the gaming realm.

• Strong ideation skills with the ability to effectively communicate ideas through various mediums like documents, prototypes, and presentations.

• Collaborative approach towards shaping the product vision through design explorations, documentation, and presentations.

• Possess an ownership mindset with a proactive attitude, emphasizing progress and growth over personal ego.

• Previous experience working with design systems or libraries.
