• Lead and guide a team of design professionals, offering advice, feedback, and assistance on design projects from initial concept to project initiation

• Establish and oversee team project schedules, budgets, standards, project complexities, and resource distribution

• Create monthly performance reports for SLA’s and KPI’s outlined in the contract

• Assist Project Designers in ensuring quality in design deliverables

• Communicate and implement new processes and design standards to Project Designers

• Review and approve initial space plans and design ideas for safety, functionality, aesthetics, and compliance with regulations

• Evaluate furniture, fixtures, equipment, and millwork selections and specifications to meet client needs

• Provide ongoing training to the team on space planning & design, project management, and FF&E services

• Aid in developing and managing Revit templates and design assets

• Establish client workplace standards, propose new standards, and seek enhancements in workplace design

• Collaborate with clients to devise new workplace strategies and define processes for design team members

• Assist in leading interior design efforts for special or complex projects

• Contribute expertise in space planning, interior materials, furniture, lighting, acoustics, and human behavior to the interior environment

• Independently execute tasks such as conceptual design, schematic design, space planning, and construction documentation

• Supervise relationships with third-party professionals like architects and engineers

• Attend internal and consultant meetings

• Provide in-depth knowledge of FF&E vendors and resources to the team


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a CIDA or NAAB accredited institution in Architecture or Interior Design

• 7+ years of professional design experience

• 5+ years of experience in managing and mentoring design teams

• 5+ years of professional Revit experience

• Proficiency in architectural drawings, concepts, and design

• Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and procurement processes

• Strong time management, communication, collaboration skills, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines independently

• Capable of leading a team and delegating tasks effectively

• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners

• Understanding and documenting client and stakeholders’ goals, project budgets, and measurable outcomes

• Data collection skills through programming, surveys, focus groups, and benchmarking
