• Responsible for developing, updating, and enhancing the Visual Playbook to align with product strategy, brand narrative, and platform updates.
• Oversee the visual storytelling aspect for onboarding, paywalls, progress flows, and program experiences, including defining motion intent, type hierarchy, imagery, and overall look & feel.
• Customize visuals for different markets, ensuring cultural sensitivity and accessibility.
• Experiment with visual hypotheses (A/B, multivariate) to enhance conversion and retention rates, and establish reusable standards for successful patterns.
• Expand and maintain the product design system, prepare export-ready assets, thumbnails, video graphics, and marketing-related visuals.
• Collaborate with motion designers on defining interactions, animations, and Lottie assets to improve user journeys and comprehension.
• Work closely with Product, Growth, Content, and Design teams, provide clear briefs for freelancers, and review deliverables to ensure alignment with the Playbook.
• Utilize approved AI tools for exploration, variations, and batch production while upholding brand standards.
• Efficiently operate in Figma, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, and asset management tools to maintain structured, reusable files.
• Demonstrated portfolio featuring mobile product visuals and storytelling in various contexts (iOS/Android).
• Experience in creating or contributing to visual playbooks, design systems, or component libraries.
• Ability to translate brand guidelines into scalable product visuals with a balance of clarity and creativity.
• Proficiency in localization, accessibility, and cross-platform adaptation.
• Familiarity with motion principles, basic video direction, and collaboration with production teams.
• Proficient in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of Lottie and AI design tools as a bonus.
• Strong organizational skills and timely delivery of work.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and coordination with teams and freelancers.
