VP, Product Innovation - Experience Design

📋 Description

• The Vice President, Product Innovation and Experience Design will be responsible for leading and coordinating all shared services capabilities for the product organization, including Design, Innovation, and ProductOps.

• This leader will work collaboratively with Provider Data and Member Data Product leaders to provide support for the whole solution portfolio.

• The VP will also be responsible for leading the development and delivery of high-impact strategies and innovation initiatives to increase the value of solutions and drive growth.

• This role will manage the team responsible for the design of the company platform experience, develop new models for product monetization, and forge partnerships to deliver value – all to improve the overall quality of stakeholders’ experiences with this organization.

• The Vice President will lead high-priority external initiatives, including testing, selling, and delivering innovation concepts with and to customers, prospects, and partners.

• This work includes understanding customer experiences through a Human Centered Design approach to identify unmet market needs and potential opportunities, concepting and designing compelling innovations, shaping a portfolio of foundational product capabilities that serve both the provider and member data platforms, and delivering on test and pilot programs in the market.

• This role will also work across all parts of this organization, including Growth and Business Development, Technology, Finance, Operations, and others to successfully conceptualize, operationalize and deliver innovation for the business.

• Proven ability to apply Human Centered Design methods through successful product delivery.

• Comfort with ambiguity; demonstrated ability to lead through change and self-manage competing priorities.

• Strong collaboration and team-building skills.

• Strong executive presence and communication skills.

• Ability to become quickly knowledgeable on new subjects or markets.

• Top-notch analytical abilities, expert storyteller, proven track record of translating expansive insights or data into an actionable set of recommendations.

• Motivated and resourceful self-starter.

• Willingness to challenge the status quo, propose creative solutions, and compel change.

• Communicate and simplify complex issues to a variety of audiences; tailor messages to fit and persuade (and inspire) specific stakeholder groups.

• Background in healthcare business and health IT.

• Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Office 365 and PowerPoint).
