β’ The Associate Product Designer will provide support to the Product team by contributing to UI/UX design efforts for Dynatron's data-forward tools used in automotive service departments.
β’ Working under the guidance of the lead designer, you will take ownership of small-to-medium scoped projects from start to finish and assist in larger design initiatives.
β’ Responsibilities include participating in user research, usability testing, and accessibility reviews to transform insights into clear, practical solutions.
β’ This role will assist in design efforts across various projects, collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Customer Success to deliver effective solutions.
β’ You will be involved in projects from problem discovery to delivery, aiming to simplify complex workflows, visualize performance metrics, enhance accessibility, and improve the usability of the SaaS platform.
β’ 2β4 years of experience in Product Design or UX/UI, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
β’ A portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX thinking, interaction design, and visual polish, including user flows, wireframes, and final UI work.
β’ Experience in user research, usability testing, and design synthesis, with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions.
β’ Knowledge or interest in accessibility design, including WCAG/ADA compliance.
β’ Experience with designing data-dense interfaces, dashboards, or reporting tools.
β’ Proficiency in tools like Figma, design systems, tokens, components, and collaborative platforms like Miro.
β’ Ability to work independently on small projects and contribute effectively to larger initiatives as part of a team.
β’ Strong communication skills to convey design rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ BA/BS in Design, HCI, or related field.
β’ Understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and usability.
β’ Capacity to take direction, iterate quickly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
β’ Exposure to AI design tools or workflows is a plus and may lead to bonus consideration.
