📋 Description

• Develop and enhance high-quality components, patterns, and foundations for our design system

• Create scalable component libraries in Figma utilizing robust auto layout, variants, properties, and responsive structure

• Collaborate in a token-driven environment to define and implement primitives, semantic tokens, and component-level tokens

• Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure seamless translation of components from design to React implementation

• Contribute to the design of a multi-theme system across a complex platform

• Elevate the standards for visual design, accessibility, consistency, and production readiness throughout the product

• Establish system guidance, usage rules, and best practices to facilitate correct adoption of the system by teams

• Support the advancement of our design to code workflow using AI-driven tools within Figma, tokens, and implementation pipeline


⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in visual design principles, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and composition

• Keen attention to detail in component states, interaction patterns, and visual coherence

• Experience in crafting polished, production-ready enterprise UI designs

• Proficient understanding of accessibility, including color contrast, focus states, and WCAG standards

• Ability to balance visual excellence with system constraints and structure

• Strong proficiency in Figma, particularly in auto layout, nesting, constraints, responsive components, variants, and properties

• Experience in constructing and managing component libraries in Figma

• Clear comprehension of the distinction between Figma Variables and design tokens

• Hands-on familiarity with Tokens Studio for Figma is essential

• Experience in directly working with design tokens in JSON and translating them into Figma Variables is beneficial

• Strong grasp of atomic design principles and scalable system architecture

• Experience with token-based design systems, encompassing primitive, semantic, and component token layers

• Understanding of how tokens transition from design to code

• Ability to think holistically across themes, modes, and scalable system logic

• Interest in deepening systems thinking and advancing in a more technical design systems environment

• Proficient in reading React component structures and engaging in detailed implementation discussions with engineers

• Basic understanding of CSS and utility class patterns, preferably in a Tailwind-based setting

• Ability to collaborate closely with engineering on component behavior, states, and design system integration

• Experience with Style Dictionary or token transformation pipelines is advantageous

• Familiarity with AI-driven design workflows is a bonus

• Exposure to design-to-code automation workflows, including Figma API, MCP servers, or similar tools, is an added advantage

• Experience in contributing to production design systems with code-connected token pipelines is a plus
