Product Designer, Mid – 12-month FTC, Maternity Cover

📋 Description

• Responsible for taking designs from initial discovery and sketching to polished, high fidelity UI ready for development

• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to comprehend problems before proposing solutions

• Conduct and contribute to user research, utilizing insights to validate decisions and iterate

• Design for web and mobile platforms, with a keen awareness of cross-device user experience

• Stay up-to-date on fintech and automotive trends to provide informed and relevant insights to the team

• Clearly present work at various stages and adjust ideas based on feedback

• Contribute to design quality within the team, participate in critiques, and uphold a high standard for accessibility and UX

• Assist the marketing team with design requirements, including website, email campaigns, and presentation decks

• Showcase a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product experience

• Possess solid UI, interaction, and visual design skills

• Demonstrated commercial experience in a product design role

• Proficient in Figma, including prototyping at an expert level

• Exhibit clear and organized communication skills

• Embrace a collaborative mindset, adept at giving and receiving feedback, and supporting the team

• Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
