• Manage and enhance Chainguard's brand and visual identity across various platforms such as the website, presentations, sales materials, and more.
• Establish and uphold brand guidelines to ensure consistency and beauty in all materials created by stakeholders.
• Take charge of designing and producing important assets with meticulous attention to detail.
• Oversee the selection and management of external designers and agencies to increase output quality while preserving brand integrity.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and People teams to create assets that enhance the brand and meet business objectives.
• Drive innovation by exploring new ways for Chainguard to engage audiences digitally and physically.
• Must have 7-10 years of design experience, including 3-4 years leading brand-focused design projects.
• Showcase a portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design, brand systems, and campaign work across various mediums.
• Proven track record of implementing brand identities in web, print, and event settings.
• Proficiency in Figma for design systems and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for brand development.
• Ability to both execute design projects and provide clear direction to contractors.
• Strong network of freelance designers, illustrators, and agencies for collaboration.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a startup environment.
• Ideally, background in designing for technical brands and bonus points for motion design skills.
