• Collaborate daily with design and licensing team members
• Ensure thorough consideration of modifications to uranium conversion processes in compliance with facility licensing requirements for regulatory approvals
• Participate in evaluating and designing uranium conversion process modifications, safety analyses, and research activities
• Conduct in-depth research on materials and process chemistry for optimal uranium conversion production
• Provide input for plant modifications at two uranium conversion plants to increase capacity and improve material assay
• Lead small to moderately sized design teams to achieve project objectives in uranium conversion manufacturing optimization
• Perform other necessary duties
• Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent required
• Preferred post-graduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering
• Minimum 15 years of experience in uranium conversion technology development
• Ability to lead design teams for manufacturing optimization in uranium conversion projects
• Expertise in nuclear materials conversion and fuel fabrication
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Collaboration skills in dynamic project environments
• Ability to present technical findings efficiently
• Focus on optimizing product material properties to meet industry standards
• Experience in metallurgical and nuclear materials research and production
• Experience with facility refurbishment for metallurgical manufacturing processes
• Must be a U.S. citizen
