• The Graphic Designer will actively participate in creative vision meetings for assigned projects, working closely with the product development team to craft a graphic package that focuses on print materials such as book covers, interior layouts, packaging design, and digital assets.
• Responsible for implementing creative strategies and developing concepts.
• Oversee design and production execution.
• Contribute to merchandise design across various products.
• Collaborate with both internal and external vendors.
• Keep track of schedules and maintain organized file management.
• BS/BA in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• Preferably specialized in print production and/or book layout.
• Minimum of 5 years of design/creative experience management, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Experience in graphic design for merchandise, including apparel, home goods, or lifestyle products.
• Strong background in copywriting, design, art direction, and management.
• Understanding of brand development, advertising, and multichannel marketing concepts.
• Knowledge of technological advancements in digital and graphic design.
• Awareness of current trends in promotional campaigns, print, and visual design.
• Extensive online portfolio showcasing user research/visual design samples and rationale behind proposed solutions.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Knowledge of print production needs, timelines, and turnarounds.
• Proficient in InCopy, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to inspire the creative team.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Catholic theological concepts and terminology.
• Remote role with occasional travel to the Ascension office in Exton, PA.
