• Collaborate with Historic New England team members to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop innovative design campaigns and elements
• Create designs for various platforms such as print, digital, signage, ads, websites, social media, and event materials
• Ensure consistent application of branding elements like logos, fonts, and colors
• Communicate clearly and work collaboratively with different departments throughout project lifecycles
• Coordinate with printers and external agencies to meet guidelines, timelines, and budget constraints
• Assist the Director of Marketing in executing priorities
• Engage with brand teams to maximize sponsorship and partnership opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with consultants, partners, and vendors as needed
• Attend community events occasionally to foster partnerships and connections
• Possess a degree in graphic arts, design, or related field or equivalent credentials
• Have a minimum of three years of experience in graphic design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage projects with tight deadlines and budgets
• Experience in content strategy development and implementation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with current design trends and accessible design principles
• Knowledge of photo and font copyrights and usage rights
• Understanding of analytical data for a results-driven approach
• Excellent organization and project management abilities
• Residency in New England required at the start of employment
• Possess a valid driver's license and transportation means

• Part-time position of 20 hours per week, with potential for full-time permanent role
