Lead Product Designer

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end design processes for multiple projects within the catalog experience.

• Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.

• Create user-centered designs, including wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.

• Work closely with engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design concepts.

• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback.

• Champion a cohesive and consistent design language for shopping-related components.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.

• 6+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with experience designing e-commerce experiences.

• Very strong, modern UI skills.

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, and other design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong experience utilizing design systems to build and update screens.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

• Proven track record of delivering successful design projects that meet business goals and user needs.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with front-end development principles.

• Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design.

• A portfolio showcasing your previous UX and UI design work.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
