• Joining as the Lead Product Designer on the Growth team, you will spearhead the development of impactful consumer-facing features and experiences on Web, iOS, and Android platforms to enhance user engagement with The Athletic's top-notch sports coverage.
• Collaborate with researchers and fellow designers to maintain consistency and drive innovations within the Growth team's focus areas.
• Possess 7+ years of relevant product design experience in a rapidly growing consumer company, preferably with a subscription business background.
• Demonstrate expertise in working with cross-functional teams and delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Proficient in creating user flows, wireframes, UI designs, prototypes, and maintaining design systems.
• Lead and integrate user testing, research, and insights effectively.
• Manage multiple workstreams efficiently and demonstrate excellent Figma and prototyping skills.
• Exhibit cross-discipline fluency and strong visual and typographic sensibilities.
• Show enthusiasm for The Athletic and the ability to strategize at a high level while executing projects swiftly and accurately.
