β’ Collaborate with Directors of Curriculum and academic module leads to design learning experiences across all programmes.
β’ Use established learning design frameworks to support curriculum development and create tailored learning activities.
β’ Assist with the design of formative and summative assessments, ensuring all content is engaging and constructively aligned.
β’ Apply user experience (UX) principles to create learning journeys that connect academic theory with workplace application.
π― Requirements
β’ Proven experience in learning design for online education
β’ Strong understanding of pedagogical principles and active learning methodologies
β’ Experience designing live learning activities
β’ Ability to interpret and act on learner feedback and performance data
β’ Experience with multimedia content creation
β’ Experience creating engaging digital learning content using authoring tools
β’ Experience with virtual learning environments and digital learning tools
β’ Strong project management, collaboration and organisational skills
β’ Advance HE Fellowship (or willingness to undertake)
β’ PGCHE or equivalent teaching qualification
β’ Experience in apprenticeship or work-based learning
β’ Understanding of UK higher education sector frameworks
β’ Knowledge of apprenticeship Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs)
β’ Expertise in learning analytics and data-informed design
β’ Experience in assessment design and quality assurance processes
β’ Experience of using AI for learning design
β’ Understanding of OfS regulatory framework and QAA quality baseline as they relate to online learning experiences
