📋 Description

• The data.world team is looking for a Learning Experience Designer (Part-Time Contract) to join us as we build and scale our Education and Training program!

• This role will help develop and scale our budding Education & Training program by creating best-in-class training resources and videos that allow customers to quickly use and adopt our SaaS platform that’s modernizing how organizations use data.

• As a member of our Education & Training team within Customer Experience, you will work directly with our internal subject matter experts to develop content and videos that simplify the use of the data.world platform.

• We’re looking for someone passionate about working cross-functionally to produce engaging educational materials that help customers and partners quickly unlock the value of our SaaS platform.

• You’re a creative and driven learning professional who enjoys taking complex information and making it easy to understand, enjoys project-based work, and is driven by serving customers.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of building learning resources within SaaS, data catalog software, or adjacent fields

• A demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of audience learning requirements and tailor content as needed (including varying customers and partners)

• Hands-on experience or a strong understanding of accessibility standards (such as WCAG 2.0) and a passion for creating inclusive and accessible learning experiences for all users.

• Excellent design skills using Adobe creative suite, including Premiere Pro and Illustrator, and Canva to create engaging videos and descriptive graphics

• Experience with the Videate video development software (or similar)

• The ability to self-manage projects and workload while collaborating with technical teams to create training materials for varying levels of customer and partner audiences

• Approaches ambiguity with a positive, “can-do” attitude to navigate an evolving learning environment

• The ability to collaborate with leadership to articulate capacity planning with the ability to prioritize multiple projects across a variety of topics

• Proficiency with Mac, Google Docs, and Slack as your daily work platform

• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and visual communication skills
