β’ Create and develop formative and summative ELA assessments, instructional materials, and activities that align with state and national standards such as Common Core, TEKS, and BEST.
β’ Ensure all materials adhere to educational best practices, including providing differentiation and scaffolding for diverse learners.
β’ Collaborate with educators, subject matter experts, data scientists, and curriculum developers to improve and enhance content.
β’ Utilize technology tools and platforms to create interactive and digital learning experiences.
β’ Incorporate research on effective literacy instruction and assessment practices into content development.
β’ Update and modify existing curriculum materials based on teacher input and student performance data.
β’ Maintain consistency in tone, language, and complexity to meet grade-level expectations.
β’ Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in core curriculum assessment creation or design, curriculum design, or instructional development within a publishing or educational technology setting.
β’ Strong understanding of ELA standards, literacy instruction, and assessment techniques.
β’ Experience in creating lessons and assessments for different grade levels, with a preference for grades 9-12.
β’ Familiarity with educational publishing standards and instructional technology.
β’ Excellent writing, editing, and communication abilities.
β’ Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
β’ Proficient in using content authoring tools such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Learning Management Systems, and digital curriculum platforms.
