• The Teamwork Platform team seeks a skilled and dedicated Principal Designer to lead the development of Atlassian's Teamwork Graph experiences.
• Directly report to the Head of Design, Teamwork Platform.
• As a design leader in the Teamwork Platform organization, you will be instrumental in defining the user-focused vision, strategy, and roadmap for the graph experience.
• Utilize your expertise in product design, interaction design, and visual design to create scalable experiences.
• Oversee the detailed design process from inception to implementation, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
• Identify and capitalize on new opportunities through product insights, customer feedback, and strategic thinking to prioritize impactful platform enhancements.
• Possess over 10 years of experience in software product design, showcasing a robust portfolio encompassing comprehensive work on intricate systems and platforms.
• Experience in designing for scalable platform capabilities, including developer tools, distributed systems, extensibility models, and data-rich interfaces.
• Proven track record in designing for enterprise-grade environments with stringent requirements for availability, security, and performance on a multi-product platform serving millions of users.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into intuitive and long-lasting user experiences.
• Strong strategic thinking and systems-oriented skills.
• Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, and presentations) and a collaborative approach with a strong executive presence.
