Product Designer – Creative

📋 Description

• Create responsive UI screens and components in Figma following our design system guidelines

• Enhance the design system by contributing to patterns, interactions, styles, and documentation

• Develop prototypes in collaboration with UX for testing with educators and students

• Collaborate with product managers and developers to finalize design elements and deliver production-ready files

• Assist in designing gamified features like shops, rewards, and challenges

• Generate visually appealing and age-appropriate concepts for new functionalities

• Engage in storytelling initiatives to inspire students and teachers

• Produce polished visual assets, icons, layouts, and illustrations

• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and/or Affinity when necessary in addition to Figma

• Ensure high-quality, pixel-perfect designs with meticulous attention to detail

• Incorporate AI tools for ideation, image creation, copy exploration, and prototyping

• Explore innovative creative and product opportunities with AI

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a Higher Ed Certificate in Design (UI, Graphic, Multimedia, or related field)

• Strong eye for detail and contemporary digital aesthetics

• Demonstrated experience in web or mobile interface design using Figma

• Interest in designing for youth and educators

• Willingness to learn, experiment, and enhance skills

• Proficiency in using AI for creative purposes

• Ability to work independently on defined tasks with support available

• Portfolio showcasing expertise in visual craft such as UI work, digital design, or visual storytelling

• Bonus points for motion graphics, illustration skills, Rive experience, Adobe Creative Suite proficiency, design system knowledge, and background in EdTech or gamification

• Desirable qualities include creativity, empathy, curiosity, fast learning, and a passion for designing engaging learning experiences
